The smell of hot dogs, nachos, and a little rock n roll was the order of the day on January 17, 2011. For the second year, the Oak Grove teen ministry had a fun outing for the Martin Luther King holiday. This year we went to the Rock n Soul Museum and the Memphis Grizzlies Game. XX teens and XX adults attended this year's event. We took a short self guided tour of the Rock n Soul Museum which is located next to the FedEx Forum. The Rock n Soul Museum tells the story of musical pioneers and legends of all racial and socio-economic backgrounds who, for the love of music, overcame obstacles to create a distinctive musical sound. Afterwards, we attended the Grizzlies vs. Chicago Bulls basketball game. A fun time was had by everyone who attended. See you next year.
